Welcome to Clouser Eventing....
We specialize in reschooling and bringing along Thoroughbred racehorses from the track into the sport horse world. In 2013 we are working on moving our training operation to Jenn's home. Jenn is offering lessons at your own barn or her farm. We let the horses down to have some rest and relaxation before beginning their new careers in eventing, dressage, show jumping, fox hunting, western, and pony club. Our students range from youth to adult. Some find that learning how to enjoy riding on the trails to be more than enough for them to accomplish. While other students are off and rolling in competition, as well as everything in between.
At Clouser Eventing we are focused on providing lesson and training services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to meet your expectations!
With a variety of offerings to choose from, we’re sure you’ll be happy working with us. Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us. We hope to see you again! Check back later for new updates to our website. There’s much more to come!
Jennifer was honored with the selection as one of the trainers for Extreme Retired Racehorse Challenge in 2013! For this challenge Jennifer had April 25th to pick and announce a newly retired Thoroughbred Racehorse to re-train. From the 25th of April Jennifer had until August 2nd to re-start and put some training on the Thoroughbred to perform a freestyle performance and a barrel race. Please visit Dreaming of Three for full details and to follow blogs for this years challenge. Proceeds from the challenge in 2013 went to CANTER and Bright Futures Farm.
ERRM is over and Ammo is enjoying some real let down time! Ammo gave me his all at the trainers challenge. I could not have been anymore happy and excited to have him in my barn and as mine! We produced a flowing freestyle with Patrick King giving us bonuses for my horsemanship and be able to produce such a happy horse who was willing to perform and give his all at this stage of training to me. We put in a solid, but still green, barrel race to finish 6th of out of the trainers. Thank you to everyone who supported us in our journey to the ERRM and those who made the trip out to Ohio for hands on help and moral support. Also thank you to everyone involved in making the ERRM come to life.
Clouser Eventing is headed up by Jennifer "Jenn" Clouser. While always bringing along young and green horses she is also a wife and mom of two young boys. Jenn has competed through the levels of eventing, dressage, and show jumping. Also an alumni of the United States Pony Club, she gives back to the USPC as a regional level coach.
Currently we are working on bringing along a number of upper level prospects for eventing and dressage. Students are moving up the levels in pony club and eventing. Limited number of training horses are accepted at a time, so each are given the attention they deserve. Jenn is accepting students on an on-going basis. English riding students beginner and up, Western riding students for trail riding and beginners.
UPDATE: As of Mid-May 2013 Jenn has moved her training operations to her home in Newville. All the horses are going great, eating grass until they are full and training beautifully. She has a limited three spots open for client/training horses to field board with her. We are beyond HAPPY to be at our own home with happy horses who now get to enjoy confident handling everyday with knowledge people who really do care for them.
