Clouser Eventing

  Riding made easy...

Who We Are

Clouser Eventing is led by Jennifer Clouser, aka Jenn.  Jenn has brought many horses through the levels in various styles of riding.  Her love of the Thoroughbred and eventing are what brings the passion and drive to the program.

Jenn is supported by her husband, Kenneth, behind the scenes.  Through his support in work and family Jenn's competing and coaching is able to continue.  In 2005 Jenn took an extended break from the competition and riding world to get married and start a family.

Jenn is now none stop in the training, teaching, and showing throughout the year.  In 2010 most of the horses who were showing and coming along in the program were sold, and Jenn was working on starting the next round of competition and sale horses.  While there is always a slow down when a rider has a child.... 2014 is here and we have a very strong string of horses and students ready to play hard.

In 2013...

Jennifer has been honored with the selection as one of the trainers (and the only english style rider) for this challenge out of the entire United States!!  For this challenge Jennifer has until April 25th to pick and announce a newly retired Thoroughbred Racehorse to re-train.  From the 25th of April Jennifer has until August 2nd to re-start and put some training on the Thoroughbred to perform a freestyle performance.  After the freestyle and an intermission there is a barrel race portion to aid in determining the winner.  Please visit Dreaming of Three for full details and to follow blogs.  Proceeds from the challenge will be going to CANTER and Bright Futures Farm.

ERRM is now over and Ammo is enjoying some real let down time!  Ammo gave me his all at the trainers challenge.  I could not have been anymore happy and excited to have him in my barn and as mine!  We produced a flowing freestyle with Patrick King giving us bonuses for my horsemanship and be able to produce such a happy horse who was willing to perform and give his all at this stage of training to me.  We put in a solid, but still green, barrel race to finish 6th of out of the trainers.  Thank you to everyone who supported us in our journey to the ERRM and those who made the trip out to Ohio for hands on help and moral support.  Also thank you to everyone involved in making the ERRM come to life.

Our new adventure is well underway for 2014... Thoroughbred Barrel Racing Association is now up running and accepting membership.  We are an association designed for the barrel racing competitor on off the track Thoroughbreds (OTTBs).  Jenn is the State Director for PA!  Click on the link below to be taken directly to the website for more details.  We also have a facebook page running where we all chat, share ideas, and encourage each other.

A new year is here and lots will be going on.  Our building plans are coming together and ground is breaking this winter for our new home base barn!!  The whole project will be completed in stages but will be amazing when complete.  Our farm name is Virtue Stables, representing what we believe in.  Our new barn will be home to 10 state of the art stalls, wash stall (with heat lamp or own heat source and hot water for warm baths), bathroom and a heated and cooled tack room!

After the barn shell is up the inside will be done one phase at a time.  It will be awhile til all is finished but anything worth doing takes time.  Plus to not cut corners while keeping the comfort and safety of our horses in mind we are sparing no expense, which equals more time to pay for it without maxing out the credit, hahaha.

We plan to offer summer camps and weekend "camp"/"training sessions".  Our farm website is in development, once done the link below will become active.

Owners, Supporters, Affliates and Sponsors- Without you Clouser Eventing is not complete. Thank you, Jenn

Kenneth Clouser- Mr. Clouser plays many roles.... husband, supporter, father, and attempts as a groom ;)  Ken co-owned one of Jenn's past mounts, Child's Play.  Currently he takes pride in Lady Zipster and Breeze.
